Ola Aina wins Nottingham Forest’s Player of the Month Award for September

Nigeria defender, Ola Aina has been rewarded with Nottingham Forest’s Player of the Month Award for the month of September.

The Super Eagles’ full back has been impressive for the Foxes, racking up positive outing since his arrival from Serie A side, Torino in the last transfer window playing in Forest’s five games this campaign.

The 26-year-old, who can operate effectively on both flanks of defense has quickly settled down to become an integral member of Steve Cooper side.

He was able to amassed 40 percent of total votes to beat other nominees for the monthly award including his Nigerian team mate, Taiwo Awoniyi and Morgan Gibbs-White and Elanga.

He is the second Nigerian player winning the award in the club this season after Taiwo Awoniyi won the August’s edition.
