Olisa Ndah: Super Eagles defender reveals how injury halt his dream European move

Super Eagles and Orlando Pirates defender, Olisa Ndah has opened up on how niggling injuries affected his chances of playing in Europe.
Ndah started his professional football career with Delta Stars in 2014 before he joined Sharks FC of Port-Harcourt in 2015 and since became one of the defensive prospects for the Super Eagles.
At defunt Sharks, Ndah’s performance earned him a move to a club in Malta called Sliema Wanderer but unfortunately, consistent knee injuries hampered his progress with the Maltese side, forcing his return to Nigeria.
“It was tough for me and my family, here I was. Happy that I have finally moved to Europe but I kept having injury setbacks and I could not play, one I couldn’t wish for anyone,” Ndah admitted.
The lanky defender joined Orlando Pirates two years ago after helping Akwa United to the league title in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL.
Before his move to Akwa United, Ndah has had a stellar seasons with Remo Stars where he helped the club secure promotion to elite division. He is also becoming a regular face in the Super Eagles.
