Vincent Okumagba, President of the Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC), has committed to supporting Nigeria’s national women’s team at the Olympics in Paris.
Despite the absence of financial backing from the authorities, Okumagba assured that the SESC would continue to provide unwavering support to the Super Falcons both on and off the pitch.
Okumagba stated that arrangements have been made to ensure the presence of supporters club members in Paris to cheer the team to victory, emphasizing the importance of backing the national teams, despite challenges.
“Supporting the national teams is what we do best, despite the lack of motivation from the authorities,” said Prince Okumagba.
“I will be in Paris this week to make all the necessary arrangements we have to give the Super Falcons all the encouragement they need. They are in a tough group, but they have all it takes to advance to the next stage.”
The Super Falcons will begin their 2024 Olympics campaign against Brazil on July 25.
