Onazi and Emenike Shine in Resounding Cup Victories for Trabzonspor and Olympiacos
In a spectacular display of skill and dominance, Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi and former Nigerian striker Emmanuel Emenike showcased their prowess in the Turkish and Greek Cups, respectively, on Wednesday.
Trabzonspor secured a resounding 6-0 victory over third-tier side Corum Belediyespor in the fourth round of the Turkish Cup. Onazi, demonstrating his goal-scoring ability, found the net in the 74th minute, contributing to Trabzonspor’s commanding lead. Olympiacos’ stellar performance propelled them to the top of Group five in the Greek Cup, accumulating six points from two wins. Emenike’s goal-scoring spree in the Cup, with three goals to his name, adds a significant dimension to his contribution to Olympiacos, especially considering his current goal drought in the Greek Super League.
