Osinachi Ohale seals thrilling victory for Pachuca in nine-goal win over Club Leon

In a pulse- pounding encounter in the Mexican Liga MX Femenil, Pachuca edged Club Leon 5-4 thanks to a late strike from Nigerian defender Osinachi Ohale.

The match, which saw goals coming in at a relentless prowess and ended with Ohale’s decisive finish in the 83rd minute, giving Pachuca the edge in an exhilarating contest.

The scoring opened early for Pachuca with Andrea Pereira finding the net in the seventh minute, followed swiftly by Karla Nieto in the ninth minute

Club Leon responded with Kristal Soto’s 21st minute goal, but Pachuca maintained the lead when Marcia Paolo Garcia Ramirez scored just before halftime.

The second half mirrored the first intensity: Fernanda Pinilla and Itzell Aleman in the 47th and 65th minute respectively kept Club Leon in contention while Kenti Robles (59′) and ultimately Ohale (83′) delivered crucial strikes for Pachuca.

Ana Lozada’s 81st minute goal nearly leveled the match, but it wasn’t enough to deny Pachuca the win.

Ohale’s performance underlines her importance to Pachuca backline and her ability to contribute in attack when it matters most.

Her late-game composure to score the winner highlights her versatility and leadership on the field.

Following the victory, Pachuca sits third in the Liga MX Femenil table with 36 points after 16 matches, trailing leaders Monterrey (40 points), and Club America (39 points).
