Paris 2024: Payne’s sisters declare readiness for Olympics greatness

Nigerian sisters, Antionette Oyedupe and Nicole Payne have declared their readiness to help Nigeria to a great outing at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The Super Falcons is making a return to the Olympics for the first time in 16 years, and have been placed in a daunting Group C alongside reigning World Champions Spain, Copa America Femenina champions Brazil, and Asian Cup champions Japan.
However, the Payne’s sisters are set to be the latest siblings to don the famous green and white of Nigeria at an Olympic football event.
Expressing their happiness after being assigned their jersey numbers ahead of the opening clash against Brazil, they tool to social media to vow their determination.
Nicole, who will don the famous number 4 shirt, declared “Ready for the games,” accompanied by photos selfie of the siblings in their kits.
Meanwhile, Toni who was a crucial part of the Super Falcons team at the last World Cup in Australia and New Zealand will wear the number 7 shirt.
The Payne sisters will be hoping to etch their names in Nigerian football history by helping the Super Falcons achieve a maiden Olympic gold medal in Paris 2024.
