Paul Onuachu loses FIFA Puskas award to Alejandro Garnacho

Nigeria forward Paul Onuachu lost the FIFA Puskas award to Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, who emerged as the winner of the prize.
Garnacho’s superb bicycle kick got 13 points from panelists, added to another 13 points from fans’ vote to amass 26 points.
Out of 11 players nominated for the award of the best goal of the year, Onuachu’s back heel goal finished 11th with scoring points of four.
Algeria’s Yassine Benzia finished second with scoring points of 22, four behind Garnacho.
Denis Omedi, with 16 points, completed the top three goals.
Mohammed Kudus (13) Walter Bou (13), Federico Dimarco (12), and Jaden Philogene (12) also finished behind the top three.
Terry Antonis (eight), Michaell Chirinos (seven), and Hassan Al Haydos (seven) completed the top 10 players on the Puskas award voting sheet.
