Premier League star slams Ademola Lookman for transfer request at Atalanta

Former Premier League player Michele Padovano has criticized Ademola Lookman over recent rumors linking him with a move away from Atalanta.
Padovano, who played for Crystal Palace, questioned Lookman’s commitment to the Serie A club amid speculation of interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Lookman, who notably became the first player to score a hat-trick in a UEFA Europa League final, has been connected with PSG following Gonçalo Ramos’ long-term injury.
Despite this, Lookman missed Atalanta’s Serie A opener against Lecce, though he had featured in the full duration of the UEFA Super Cup match against Real Madrid.
Padovano expressed disappointment, accusing Lookman of being ungrateful to Atalanta.
He argued that the club played a crucial role in reviving Lookman’s career after his previous loan spells in the Premier League did not yield significant success.
“Lookman should have respect for Atalanta because in previous years he hasn’t really exploded,” Padovano said on Instagram.
“Atalanta gave him the opportunity to become an important player, and this attitude doesn’t do him credit.”
