Rafiu Durosinmi’s deal to Frankfurt collapses due to medical issues

Nigeria and Viktoria Plzen striker, Rafiu Durosinmi has had his impending move to German Bundesliga side, Eintracht Frankfurt collapsed following a medical complications discovered.
The young striker was expected to be unveiled this week by the German giants after both clubs agreed on a four year deal worth around nine million Euros.
However, an abnormality was discovered during his medical examination which is not related to the knee injury he is recovering from.
Durosinmi’s arrival at the 2022 Europa League champions could have seen him becoming a perfect replacement for Randal Kolo Muani whom they lost to PSG in the last transfer window.
It will be a devastating blow to the progress of the promising forward who would have had a chance to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues and become Frankfurt’s second signing in January following the loan arrival of Donny Van de Beek from Manchester United.
Durosinmi had a great start to the campaign in the Fortuna Liga, the Czech Republic top tier division but his season was interrupted by a knee injury he picked up in October.
