Rasheedat Ajibade emerges Atletico Madrid’s Most Valuable Player for February

Nigeria international, Rasheedat Ajibade has been named Atletico Madrid Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the month of February.

Ajibade was in scintillation form for the Rojiblacos as she contributed three assists to help her side secure a win, two draws and two losses in five matches.

Athletico Madrid are in the fifth position in the Liga F with 32 points from 18 matches.

The Rojiblacos will face Real Sociedad in the first leg of the Semifinal of the Copa de la Reina on Wednesday, March six.

The Las Colchoneras (The Mattressers) will be looking to defend their crown as the defending champions of the Copa de la Reina.

The Madrid based side will resume hostilities in the Liga F when they host Sporting Huelva at the Centro Deportivo Wanda Alcalá de Henares stadium on Sunday, March 10.
