Rasheedat Ajibade gives back to the society, donates boots to grassroot players

Nigeria playmaker, Rasheedat Ajibade has donated scores of football boots to talented players in grassroots.
The Super Falcons forward starred for Atletico Madrid in the outgone season, scoring 10 goals to emerge her side’s topscorer.
The former FC Robo Queens captain revealed that the kits were collected from her past and present club teammates to support young talented players in her grassroot team and the community.
While appreciating the donors of the kits for their trust in her, she stressed that the motive behind the donation was to encourage the budding athletes career with their most treasured tool.
“So I collected these football gears in one year from my past and present club teammates to support talented young lads in my community and my grassroot team who can’t afford or struggle to get gears to exhibit their potential,” Ajibade revealed during the occasion.
“To my teammates who donated their gears, thank you for your kind gesture, support, and your belief in doing good. I simply couldn’t do what i do without amazing people like you. God bless you all richly.”
Since making her move to Athletico Madrid in 2020, Ajibade have scored 16 goals in 54 appearances. She also won the Spanish Copa de la Reina in the 2022/2023 season.
She’s in line to make her second debut in the FIFA Women’s World Cup co hosted by Australia and New Zealand after making the Super Falcons squad to the mundial.
