The Sky Blue Stars is one of the fast-rising football teams in Nigeria with the men’s teams in the top-flight Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The Ikenne-based team finished third and qualified for the second-tier CAF Confederation Cup for the first time at the end of the 2021/2022 season.

The following season (2022/2023), the Ikenne-based side finished second behind champions, Enyimba, picking the second slot in the African top-tier club competition, CAF Champions League and are one of the favourite to win the league ahead of the 2023/2024 campaign.

They have an academy (Beyond Limits Football Academy) and the lower cadre of football development teams like the U-15 which won consecutive NPFL U-15 LaLiga Promises and hope to extend their football legacy with the women’s team when the NWFL Premiership season kicks off in November.
