Roosa Ariyo at the double as Club Brugge thrash Anderlecht

Nigeria forward Roosa Ariyo scored two goals for Club Brugge as they secured a 4-0 win over RSC Anderlecht in her Belgian Super League encounter on Friday.
Hosts Anderlecht were reduced to ten players in the 26th minute giving Club Brugge a numerical advantage.
The numerical advantage started to yield fruit ten minutes later when Lynsey Van Belle opened the scoring for Brugge to hand the visitors a slim halftime lead.
It took Moroccan forward, Sakina Ouzraoui Diki’s 70th-minute goal to double Club Brugge’s lead before Ariyo increased her side’s lead to three in the 73rd minute and sealed the win her second 11 minutes from time.
The win ensured that Club Brugge occupy the third position on the Belgian Super League Women’s Winners stage table with 22 points behind Leuven (27 points) and Anderlecht (26 points).
The Nigeria international lasted the duration of the match and has now scored seven goals in 19 outings this term.
Club Brugge will next face fifth-placed Genk on March 21, 2023 as they push for the league diadem in a bid to  represent Belgium at the 2023/2024 UEFA Women’s Champions League.
