Finnish-born Nigeria forward Roosa Ariyo Funmilayo joins Chinese Super League team Jiangsu FC for the 2025 season.
The 30-year-old forward joined the Chinese side from Finnish outfit, KuPS.
She spent two seasons with KuPS scoring 13 goals in 21 league games.
Ariyo also played for other Finnish sides like Honka, Jitex, and TiPS.
She also featured for Spanish Liga F women’s sides, UDG Tenerife (now Costa Adeje Tenerife) and Real Betis.
Before returning to Finland in 2023, she played for Club Brugge in Belgium.
After representing Finland at the U-20 level, she switched allegiance to Nigeria, playing a match during the Super Falcon’s 1-0 loss to Jamaica in an international friendly match.
