Roosa Ariyo wins Finnish Kansallinen league title with KuPS in Finland

Nigerian forward, Roosa Ariyo and her KuPS retained the Finnish Kansallinen league title following a 3-0 victory over Honka on Saturday.
Two goals from North Macedonia’s Gentjana Rochi lifted the team to the league diadem.
The one-match capped Nigeria international scored the first goal in the 15th minute and doubled the lead 11 minutes later.
Brazilian midfielder, Paulinha sealed the win with the third goal in the 66th minute.
Ariyo started the encounter and was replaced by Aino Kroger in the 61st minute.
She scored five goals in the league to help her side retain the diadem.
With 53 points, KuPS won the title ahead of HJK which had 49 points.
The triumph qualified KuPS for the 2024/2025 UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) Qualifiers.
