Rumour Mills: Getafe set to price out Sadiq Umar from Real Sociedad

Spanish La Liga side, Getafe are considering reigniting their pursuit of Nigerian striker, Sadiq Umar. 

The Super Eagles’ forward has been struggling for regular playing time since joining Real Sociedad from Almeria in 2022.

Getafe manager, José Bordalás is a huge admirer of the Nigerian, according to the Spanish news hub, Fichajes.

They were close to laughing a bid for Sodiq last summer but pulled out last minute. 

Getafe are currently in dire need of attacking reinforcement after amassing eight points from nine matches this season.

Sadiq has started just two league games for Real Sociedad this season.

Last season, the lanky striker managed two goals and one assist in 12 starts and 14 substitute appearances in La Liga.
