Rumour Mills: Jordan Torunarigha set for Hamburger move, medicals hold this week

Nigeria defender Jordan Torunarigha is close to completing a move to newly promoted Bundesliga side Hamburger SV, with medical tests expected to take place later this week, according to reports from Sky Sport.

The 27-year-old center-back is set to join Hamburger SV on a free transfer and is expected to sign a three-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2028.

Torunarigha attracted interest from several clubs including Anderlecht, Marseille, and Köln.

However, key input from Nigerian national team coaches Stefan Kuntz and Carlos Costa reportedly influenced his decision to join Hamburger SV.

The transfer is now widely regarded as a done deal, pending the successful completion of his medical examinations.
