In a move to bolster their attacking lineup, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly set to offload some of their biggest stars to accommodate the signing of Victor Osimhen.

The 25-year-old Nigerian striker has publicly declared his intention to leave Napoli and has been heavily linked with the French giants.

Luis Enrique needs a striker who can consistently produce goals to replace Kylian Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid on a free transfer, and Osimhen tops his list.

However, the club needs to create space for the Super Eagles star, and they are reportedly looking to offload Kolo Muani.

Kolo Muani left Eintracht Frankfurt to join PSG for an estimated €95 million at the beginning of the previous campaign. The French international has only managed nine goals in 40 games, and the club is currently looking to let him leave this summer to fund Osimhen’s move, according to Corriere Dello Sport.

Meanwhile, the club’s sports director, Luis Campos, was a key member of the group that helped Osimhen move from FC Charleroi to LOSC Lille in 2019 and could play a major role in seeing the deal through.

“I went to Lagos to see the Under-17 World Championship. After seeing him in one game, he had convinced me,” Campos said.

“I called my CEO every night to take him. I told him that within two years he would become one of the best in Europe, but the price was too high for a seventeen-year-old, and he finally went to Wolfsburg.

“In the last twenty meters, Osimhen is like a cat when you throw a ball at him. It’s incredible, he attacks them all.”

PSG’s pursuit of Osimhen reflects their commitment to maintaining a formidable attacking force and their belief in the Nigerian striker’s potential to become one of the best in Europe.
