Samuel Chukwueze offered to Mallorca amid uncertain future at AC Milan

By Oluwadamilola Olaleye

Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze could be on his way out of AC Milan this summer, with Spanish side RCD Mallorca reportedly offered the chance to sign the Super Eagles forward as doubts mount over his future at the San Siro.

Chukwueze, 25, has struggled to find consistent form and playing time since joining the Rossoneri from Villarreal in a deal worth up to €28 million, including add-ons.

His transition to Serie A has been hampered by tactical inconsistency and managerial instability at Milan.

Despite having three years left on his contract, the club is reportedly open to letting Chukwueze leave—either on a permanent transfer or a loan deal—with his representatives now actively exploring options.

Mallorca have emerged as a potential destination, with the player said to be open to returning to LaLiga, where he previously thrived.

Sources indicate that AC Milan are willing to negotiate a cut-price deal, with a possible fee between €5 million and €7 million being considered, significantly lower than the €21.1 million they paid in 2023.

The Italian club is also believed to be open to flexible payment structures rather than a traditional lump-sum transfer.

Chukwueze’s familiarity with the Spanish top flight and his previous success at Villarreal could make him an appealing addition for Mallorca, who are seeking attacking reinforcements ahead of the 2024/25 LaLiga season.
