AC Milan’s head coach, Stefano Pioli, expressed his delight at winger Samuel Chukwueze’s resurgence in form, particularly with his goal-scoring return.

The Nigerian forward stunned opponents with a sublime volley, securing his first Serie A goal against Hellas Verona.

Pioli emphasized the challenges of adapting to the demanding nature of Serie A, especially for foreign players transitioning from different leagues.

“It’s the story of a foreign player who comes to play in a difficult and complicated league, where the demands are certainly different than those he had at Villarreal,” Pioli told DAZN.

“He is putting a lot of will and effort into trying to do the best possible. I believe that too many times judgments are rushed and there is no time to wait.

“They are guys who come from a different mentality, another way of living and training, another way of playing.

“I’m very happy with the goal and that he’s doing well when he’s called upon. We have the patience necessary to wait for all our players.”

Milan maintains their second spot on the Serie A table with 62 points from 29 matches, and Chukwueze’s return to form adds another dimension to their attacking prowess.
