Taye Taiwo advises Gabriel Osho on Auxerre’s future

Ex-international, Taye Taiwo has made a compelling case for the latest Nigeria defender, Gabriel Osho, to consider leaving French side, Auxerre as the January transfer window is set to open.
Osho joined Auxerre as a free agent in the summer from relegated English Premier League (EPL) side, Luton Town FC on a one-year deal with the option of extending the deal for a further two years if certain conditions are met.
Since joining the French side, the 26-year-old has featured 12 times and scored one goal which is enough as Taye Taiwo is convinced that he should seek opportunities elsewhere.
The 39-year-old Super Eagles legend stated that the defender is “vastly underrated”.
“If a better opportunity arises, it would be beneficial for both Osho and Auxerre,” Taiwo told Africa Foot.
“He’s a great defenseman, and I think he’s vastly underrated. He should not hesitate if an interesting offer materialises.”
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old England-born defender, who switched his international allegiance to Nigeria, has already made two appearances in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
