U-20 AFCON: Zambia coach Chisi Mbewe tips Nigeria to go far in Egypt

Zambia U-20 coach, Chisi Mbewe has backed Nigeria to go very far at the U-20 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.
Nigeria outclassed Zambia in a fire-packed, securing a 4-2 victory over the Chipolopolo in an international friendly match last Friday in Abuja as both teams gear up for this year’s continental youth showpiece.
“I would say looking at things. Both teams were preparing to qualify first for the World Cup. That’s also our first goal. Secondly is to reach the final of the AFCON and be able to win the AFCON.” Mbewe told Brila FM.
“I think both teams are doing so well. They will go very far. We just need to stay focused and improve in areas where we have not done so well if we are to achieve our goals. So far, I think Nigeria and Zambia will go very far in this year’s AFCON.”
The Zambian on Sunday arrived in Dakar ahead of Tuesday’s friendly encounter against Senegal.
