U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifier: Burundi to host Nigeria in Dar es Salaam

The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) have moved Burundi’s home game against Nigeria in the U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers to another Dar es Salaam, Tazania,the Nigeria Football Federation confirms.
The winner of the two legged tie between both sides will qualify automatically to the U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup following the expansion of the number of teams for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup to 24 teams from 16.
The Azam Stadium, Dar es Salaam is a known ground for the Falconets as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Tanzania in their previous round of qualifiers.
Burundi will play the Falconets in the first leg at the Azam Stadium on January 14, while the second leg will be played in Abuja on January 20.
The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) have revealed the officiating referees for the game which includes South African trio of Nonjabulo Nonhle Ndlela (Center Referee), Maneo Evodia Tau (First assistant referee), Nandipha Menze (Second assistant referee) and Nteboheleng Theresia Setoko from Lesotho will serve as the fourth official.
Angelique Tuyishime from Rwanda will serve as the match commissioner and Fransiska Katjaimo from Namibia will be the referee assessor.
The Falconets are scheduled to resume in Abuja on Wednesday, December 27 as training commences on the 28.
