U20 World Cup: Nigeria to clash with South Korea in quarterfinal

Nigeria U20 men’s national team will square up against South Korea in the quarterfinal of the U20 FIFA World Cup.
Both sides scaled through in the round of 16 to seal a place in the quarter final of the age grade tournament.
Nigeria stunned host nation, Argentina 2-0 to book a place in the quarter final while South Korea defeated knocked out Ecuador 3-2 in the round of 16.
The Flying Eagles have scored six goals and conceded three goals in the U20 World Cup, the South Koreans have found the back of the net seven times and conceded five goals.
The encounter promises to be a tricky tie between both sides who have had a great run so far.
The likes of Victor Eletu, Jude Sunday, Haliru Sarki and Daniel Daga form against South Korea will be crucial to Flying Eagles victory in the game.
The Tiger of Asia were the runners up in the 2019 edition of the U20 World Cup and will be looking at aiming the trophy for the first time after dominating the Asian U20 Cup 12 times.
Two time finalists, the Flying Eagles will battle for a place in the semifinal against the Taegeuk Warriors on the fourth of June by 6:30pm Nigeria time.
