Uzoho nominated for two Europa League awards after heroics

After spectacular saves towards Manchester United, Tremendous Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has been nominated for the UEFA Europa League Participant of the Week and Save of the Day awards.

Uzoho was in excellent kind in Omonia Nicosia’s 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at Previous Trafford on Thursday night time.

The 23-year-old made 11 saves and solely conceded within the 93rd minute.

The Nigerian was nominated alongside Vitor Oliveira, Joey Veerman, and William Boving for the Participant of the Week award.

For the Save of the Day award, Uzoho will battle with Ugurcan Cakir, Kenan Piric, and Jorg Siebenhadhl.
