Victor Moses: Former Nigeria striker happy to be back from long injury layoff

Victor Moses, former Nigeria international is excited to return to football action after an injury that ruled him out for seven months for Spartak Moscow.
Moses had sustained knee injury while in action for Russian Premier League giants in August 2022 which hampered the club’s title ambition.
After a successful surgeries and lengthy rehabilitation, the former Chelsea and Wigan Athletic winger made a return  in a league match against Akmat Gronzy which ended goalless which boosted Spartak’s position on the log.
An elated Africa Cup of Nations winner expressed delight to have a run in and promised to help the team strive to achieve their season’s target.
“The difficult game today but a well-earned point. On a personal note, delighted to return to the team today after 7 months out. Thanks to everyone who’s supported me to get back on the pitch”, he wrote on social media.
The 32 year old quits international football after representing Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. He has played for clubs in Britain and Europe including Wigan, Stoke City, West Ham, Inter Milan among others.
