Victor Osimhen a perfect fit for Arsenal – Sol Campbell

Arsenal legend, Sol Campbell believes Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen is the perfect fit for the club in the striking role.

Osimhen have a year left to run on his current deal and he’s yet to renew his contract with the club.

The Super Eagles forward was tipped by Campbell to fill the striking role of the Gunners due to his mind-blowing qualities and features, stressing that he is a brilliant striker that can unlock defenses amidst tight positions.

“Osimhen. But is he going to cost too much money? There’s Ivan (Toney),” the former Arsenal legend was quoted by Mirror Football.

“I think they’re good (in other areas of the pitch). Centre forward is one thing they might need to look at and see the possibilities, see what’s out there, or wait until next season.

“But if the right person comes along, an out-and-out striker, that can unlock those tight games, knows what to do in those positions, and also keeps defence occupied to then free up other people, they should maybe look at it Christmas time and if not, definitely next season. The right person will offload the pressure on the team, I think.”

Osimhen have raked in six goals in eight appearances for the Partenopei this season.

Napoli have 21 points from 12 matches in the Serie A and they face Atalanta on Sunday, November 25.
