Yetunde Ayantosho upbeat about Heartland Queens chance at Confluence Queens

By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Heartland Queens forward, Yetunde Ayantosho is confident that her team will put up an outstanding performance during their Matchday 12 encounter against Confluence Queens.

Obi Ogbala’s side travels to the University Stadium, Iyamho, Auchi, Edo State to tackle their Northern opponents.

Ayantosho feels that her teammates are battle-ready for the task ahead in their bid to pick one of the three Super Six tickets from the group.

“I believe Wednesday’s match will not be the same as the first term fixture that ended goalless in Owerri,” Ayantosho told Heartland Queens Media.

“Our coaches are working hard on us the attackers’ specialty and we are keying nicely into the programs.

“And we are playing even better, in the last match against Abia Angels. We had four goals from the attacking department, three attackers scored the whole four goals.

“I think we will do even better in the attacking department come Wednesday against Confluence Queens. I believe we are going to win the game.

“Our training of late has centered more on goal scoring, and with what the coaches have instilled in us and as one of the attackers. I am going to try my best and I believe God will crown my efforts with goals.”

The former Osun Babes player asserted that their leadership position on the log is deserving and the team intends to work harder in their remaining games.

Heartland Queens top Group A with 21 points after 11 games.
