2025 President Federation Cup: Five Star Dannaz and Remo Stars Ladies through to Round of 16

The women’s category of the 2025 President Federation Cup started with Round of 32 games on Saturday.

In Benin City, NWFL Premiership side, Dannaz Ladies thrashed Go World FC 5-0.

The Lagos FA Cup winners put up an emphatic display over the less fancied side.

Another South West NWFL Premiership outfit, Remo Stars Ladies recorded a 3-0 success against Plateau United Queens.

Kafayat Bashiru headed home the opener for Wemimo Mathew’s side in the 24th minute.

10 minutes later, Aisha Animashaun doubled the lead from Olamide Bolaji’s assist.

Another header from Hannah Ibrahim in the 85th minute completed the win for the Ikenne-based side.

Remo Stars Ladies defeated Castmog FA to win the Ogun State FA Cup title and hope to reach the final of the President Federation Cup after a semi-final placement in their debut campaign last year.
