36 Lion product Samson Akinyoola completes Zamalek switch

One of the brightest talents that graduated from 36 Lion, Samson Akinyoola has completed his move to Egyptian Premier League giants, Zamalek FC.
The Nigerian-born Akinyoola who has opted to play Benin Republic national team has previously played in Europe for Slovakoan side FK Senica in 2019 before moving to Venezuela.
However, Zamalek FC confirmed the completion of the striker’s move on Tuesday via their official website stating that Akinyoola has since resume training with the Knights.
“The training of the first football team in Zamalek club, which was held today, Tuesday, at the Abdellatif Abourgila stadium at the club’s headquarters, witnessed the regularity of the Beninese striker Samson Aquinola, after announcing his contract officially,” the club announced.
“The technical staff of the team, led by Portuguese Josevaldo Ferreira, and the players were keen to welcome the new player, and wished him success and success and championships with Zamalek in the coming period.”
The 22-year-old striker started training with the rest of the team and will hope to make his debut when they play Burundian side Flambeau du Centre at the Borg El Arab Stadium in the first leg of the 32nd round of the fixture of the CAF Champions League on Sunday.
