Referee designator Gianluca Rocchi is about handy Marco Di Bello a one-month suspension after his poor administration of the ferocious match between Lazio and Milan.
The 42-year-old referee brandished 9 yellow playing cards and three crimson playing cards throughout the tense battle on the Stadio Olimpico on Friday evening, seemingly shedding management of the affair, which noticed over 36 fouls dedicated throughout the 96 minutes.
The Italian newspapers closely criticised the work of Di Bello, with Corriere dello Sport even giving him a ranking of three out of 10, underlining how his poor administration of the match derailed proceedings and in the end tarnished the conflict.
Gazzetta dello Sport particulars how Rocchi was not impressed with the work of Di Bello in Lazio’s 1-0 loss to Milan, believing the one optimistic name to be the shortage of a penalty after the problem between Mike Maignan and Valentin Castellanos.
Rocchi felt that Di Bello made errors in every single place else, together with the crimson playing cards and common administration of fouls and feelings. As such, he’s now anticipated to be suspended for a month or so, the second time this season after his cease following the match between Juventus and Bologna again in August.
