Former Arsenal defender highlights quality Osimhen will bring to Chelsea

Retired Arsenal and France defender, William Gallas has stated that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen would be an ideal addition to the Chelsea squad, Nigeriafootball.ng.
The Super Eagles’ forward has been severally linked with the Blues in this summer transfer window haven expressed desire to leave Napoli before the start of new season.
Chelsea reportedly proposed a loan deal to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge before making it permanent next summer but was rejected by the striker.
The London club have all but sealed a deal to bring in Nigerian born Spain forward, Samu Omorodion.
Gallas who also played for Chelsea at some point in his career believed Osimhen is the best forward that will raise the profile of his former club.
“In a similar way to Didier Drogba, Victor Osimhen can bring Chelsea to the next level,” Gallas told Genting Casino.
“Looking at what he has done with Napoli and leading them to the title, he could do that with Chelsea. Chelsea need a striker and I don’t know what they are waiting for.”
