Chidera Ejuke out for eight weeks with knee injury

Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke will be out of action for at least eight weeks following his latest injury setback, according German Bundesliga news outlet, BILD

Ejuke has been out of action since December 7, 2022 after Hertha Berlin’s game against Eintracht Braunschweig.

According to the update, the 25-year-old sustained  knee ligament injury during their winter break preparations in Florida, United States and is expected to return to the team at the end of March 2023.

Ejuke who is on loan from CSKA Moscow is now set to miss the next eight games for Hertha Berlin as the team aims to avoid relegation from the German Bundesliga.

Hertha Berlin currently sit 17th in the Bundesliga and have only garnered 14 points from 17 games, just three points away from safety.

He has been able to take part in15 matcges and nicking three assists for the capital city-based club.
