Wilfred Ndidi’s Father Dies in Road Accident

Sunday Ndidi, father of Nigeria captain Wilfred Ndidi, has died following a road accident.

According to a statement credited to Ndidi’s club, Beşiktaş, Ndidi Snr was involved in a fatal traffic accident on Tuesday.

He was reportedly injured in the crash at Umunede area of Delta State and was rushed to a hospital in Agbor, where he later passed away.

Wilfred Ndidi, who captains Nigeria’s national team, has yet to make a personal statement on the incident.
