Suliat Hassan: Rivers Angels have every qualities to shine at Delta Queens

Rivers Angels’ attacking midfielder, Suliat Hassan is optimistic of her side causing more worries to Delta Queens when they meet in the Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership encounter on Wednesday.

The defending champions have been shy of qualities that saw them winning the title last season haven recorded two points from their opening two games.

The match against Rivers Angels who are firing in all cylinders may be coming at the wrong time for Delta Queens as they need to make a statement with a positive result on Wednesday.

Hassan disclosed that her side are fired up for the match having in mind how desperate Delta could be.

“I’m positive that it will be an open match even though they will be more hungrier to win, but we are also going there with the same plan,” the former Conflunence Queens star told NigeriaFootball.ng.

“They will be under more pressure so it may count for us, they are a strong team that wants to dominate so I believe we can take advantage of their desperation and catch them on counter.

“The coach has asked us to stick with our principles in the match so we are not afraid of anything, I know that we can win this match.”
