Nigerian midfielder, Alex Iwobi has assured Fulham fans of the club’s readiness to make a huge impact in the new Premier League season.

The Cottagers concluded their preseason programs on Saturday with a 2-0 win over Bundesliga side, Hoffenheim with Iwobi providing both goals for Emile Smith Rowe and Adama Traore.

Iwobi who is impressed with the team’s performances so far can’t wait for the new campaign to kick-off.

“It’s good that we were able to get the result, get some minutes in the legs. I’m very tired right now but feeling sharp and ready for the season to start,” he told Fulham’s official website.

“If I can’t score at least I’m able to create chances for my team-mates and Smith Rowe and Adama Traore are going to put those chances away. It’s not just them – there are so many goal threats in this team.”
