Bayelsa United, Bendel Insurance and 26 others set to play SPOCS Global Tournament

A total number of 28 teams across Nigeria are set to partake in one of the biggest scouting tourneys in the country.
They include clubs like SGFC Athletics Sports Club, top flight Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Bendel Insurance, Bayelsa United, Box 2 Box, the team that discovered top striker, Victor Osimhen and Remo Stars Football Club Academy (Beyond Limits FC).
The event will be held at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State from October 2 to 9, 2023 as organised by SPOCS Nigeria which is an extension of renowned sports agency SPOC Global, managing top talent across the globe.
The scouting championship aimed to further discover, unearth and harness talent for the global football market.
Reacting to the development an American-based sports enthusiast and club owner Richard Opanuga said that top clubs scouts to be attending from around the globe, including New Castle Utd, FC Luzern of Swiss, Vancouver Whitecaps of Canada, Slavia Prague, Rapid Wien FC, Redstar Belgrade, and Frankfurt.
He added that it would be an excellent opportunity for the players to demonstrate their skills and catch the attention of professional teams (scouts) that would be available.
“This is an opportunity we have to grab, the event will provide us with the opportunity for our players to go out there and showcase what they have which will give them the opportunity to sign up with International football clubs,” Opanuga told media.
“This is a good initiative from SPOCS it is one of its kind like I said we just have to tap into this. At SGFC Athletics we have the talents to parade and I am confident that it is a sign that something good is just about to happen.”
Gbenga Agbejoye has emphatically showcased a few clubs around while visiting the clubs’ training program to ensure better Squad presentation in search of these exceptional lads. He’s target-oriented on between 17 – 20 years brackets
Mr. Agbejoye of SPOCS Nigeria is on top gear, highly spirited, and expecting every team to parade top talents with high-class sporting agility for Sacher Empacher and his team’s delight.
More young talents are expected to be discovered from the program next month.
