CAF names Moroccan referee for Rwanda vs Nigeria crucial 2026 World Cup Qualifier

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Moroccan referee, Jayed Jalal, to officiate the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Rwanda and Nigeria later this month.
CAF announced the appointment of the match officials on Thursday afternoon, ahead of the highly anticipated clash.
Jalal will be assisted by compatriots Mostapha Akarkad as Assistant Referee I and Hamza Nassiri as Assistant Referee II.
The crucial encounter is scheduled to take place on matchday five of the qualifiers at the Amahoro Stadium, with Rwanda’s Amavubi hosting Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
