CAFCC: Shadrack Asiegbu confident of Rivers United chances against Dreams FC

Rivers United striker, Shadrack Asiegbu has expressed optimism of his side’s recording a decent result against Dreams FC when they meet for the Matchday Two of CAF Confederation Cup group stage clash on Sunday.

The Nigeria’s last representative at the continental engagement this season starts their group stage campaign on a good note beating Angola’s by 3-0 while Dreams lost to Club Africain in Tunisia.

Stanley Eguma’s side will hope to continue their bright start to the competition as they face the Ghanaians in Kumasi.

A confident Asiegbu said the players and officials of the Port Harcourt side are fired up to give their best to come out with positive result from the match.

We are confident of getting a point here, we started on a winning note and we are optimistic that we will get it right here.

“Even in our training, everyone shows seriousness because they know how important the game is, our heads are up and we know what we need from this game.”

The match will kickoff by 5pm Nigerian time at the Babayara Stadium in Kumasi.
