Granada honours former striker, Odion Ighalo

Former Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo was decorated with a special frame by his former LaLiga club, Granada as one of the club icons.
The former Super Eagles forward was presented with the frame with his Granada jersey number and name on it after a friendly between his present club, Al Wehda and the Spanish side on Friday.
The friendly ended 1-1 with Granada winning 5-4 on penalty shootouts.
Ighalo spent the 2009/10 season on loan at Granada from Serie A club, Udinese before returning for another spell in 2011, spending three seasons with the Nazaries.
The 35-year-old scored 32 goals in 121 appearances across the two spells.
An elated Ighalo expressed delight with the honor and appreciated everyone at Granada for the reception..
“Today is one of the happiest days of my life. 10 years later I return to my house, the one that gave me everything,” he wrote on his X handle.
“I am very happy to be here! Thank you for supporting this club in all situations.
“And I hope one day my Granada can belong to the Granadans!! A big hug to all my fans! Without a doubt the best in the world.”
