Kelechi Iheanacho showcases inner Peter Drury’s skills

Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho and Ricardo Pereira pick up microphones and become commentators, talking through some of their top Leicester City strikes.
Seniorman Kelz as he is popularly called, Iheanacho is known for the fun and jollifications in the locker room with his compatriot Wilfred Ndidi always there to hype him to the mood.
Iheanacho recently teamed up with teammate Ricardo Pereira to analyze the memorable match between Leicester City and Everton.
The Foxes lost the game 2-1 with Pereira getting his debut goal of the 2018/19 Premier League season.
Everton took an early lead with a goal from Richardlison. However, the Portuguese defender leveled the score with an impressive run into the opponent’s box.
Seniorman with a wonderful assist after he picked up Daniel Amartey’s clearance to deliver a beautiful through pass to Pereira who then made a run into the box and fired an equalizer past Jordan Pickford.
However, Gylfi Sigurdsson’s sublime strike from 25 yards out, earned the visitors maximum points.
Leicester City finished with 16 losses and 15 victories, placing them in the 8th position in the Premier League standings that year.
Five years later Leicester City were relegated to the second-tier EFL Championship despite having three different managers and lost 22 of their 38 league matches last season.
Looking back in time, Iheanacho showcased his newfound commentary skills, channeling popular commentator Drury as he provided commentary on the match against Everton.
Peter Drury is known for his artistry commentating and he was awarded the Sports’ Journalists’ Association Commentator of the Year award in 2020.
In the video on the official website of Leicester City, Iheanacho and Pereira who are currently holding the second spot in the Championship standings delivered a Drury-like analysis.
