Mohammed Mouktar charges Falconets to win U-20 World Cup

Chairman of FCT Soccer Affiliation (FA) Mohammed Mouktar has urged Nigeria U-20 Girls’s Nationwide Group, the Falconets to win the on going U-20 Girls’s World Cup in Costa Rica, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

Mouktar made the attraction on Monday in Abuja after a novelty soccer match to mark his birthday celebration.

The chairman counseled the Nigerian women for defeating Korea Republic 1-0 on Sunday to zoom into the quarter-finals of the competitors.

“The ladies have displayed good spirit, they’ve taken it one step at a time.

“We’re comfortable that they’ve progressed (to the quarter-finals) and naturally every time we go into such tournaments we count on them to go the entire hog and win the trophy,” he stated.

He known as on Nigerians to maintain supporting the group to realize the feat.

The Falconets who’ve booked a spot within the quarter-finals after profitable their first two matches in Group C, will confront Canada on Thursday of their final group recreation.
