By Monsurah Olatunji
Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has continued to drag the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick, over ‘Warri Again’ show breach calling him a dream crusher.
The FIFA Executive Member claimed that the organizers booked a private jet for $18,000 for the singer to perform at the 19th edition of the Warri Again festival but he never showed up despite being paid $94,600.
However, the Mr. Unavailable has vowed not to refund the $94,600 (about 72 million Naira) despite not showing up at the event.
The Afrobeats star has responded to Pinnick’s allegation on his official X account as he bragged that nobody can stop him from performing anywhere in Nigeria, assuring his fans in Warri that he would be in their city soon.
Davido then took to his official Instagram stories to drop more bomb on the FIFA member, confirming that he would not be returning the money paid to him but would instead donate it to any Nigerian football charity organisation.
“If I’m returning any money I’ll return it to any football charity organization… In fact, I will double it… Mr Dream Crusher.
“Imagine how many Nigerian footballers have had their dreams crushed because person wan live for Ikoyi by force.
“Warri people hate you Amaju and you know. Come outside, let’s talk. I will be performing in Warri in December, I wan see who get mind stop me…body go tell u,” he added in another story post.
