Nigeria duo misses Sevilla LaLiga opener vs Las Palmas

Nigeria duo, Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke weren’t in action for Sevilla in their opening day four goals thriller against Las Palmas.

Iheanacho wasn’t listed for the game while Ejuke was an unused substitute for the Rojiblancos in their 2-2 draw against Los Amarillos on Friday.

An own goal blunder from Alex Suarez gave Sevilla the lead in the 25th minute.

Three minutes before the break, Tanguy Nianzou converted into his own net to equal the score line.

Juanlu Sanchez revived Rojiblancos lead in the 61st minute as they dominated the game.

Ten minutes later, Sandro Ramirez stunned the away side with a brilliant equalizer for Las Palmas.

Sevilla next LaLiga game will be at home against Villarreal on Friday, August 23.
