NNL announces resumption date from break

Second tier Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced resumption date for the season.

The league in a release stated that after the Yuletide holidays, actions will resume on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

The league kicked off on November 30, 2024 in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital and went on Christmas and New Year break after three weeks of action.

As at when the league went on Yuletide break, Abia Comets of Umuahia led the pack in Conference A with 7 points.

Debutants Kun-Khalifat Football Club of Owerri recorded three wins in the three games played so far to stay on top of Conference B.

In Conference C, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi are in front with 7 points as Basira Football Club of Lafia, Nasarawa State are in front of others in Conference D.

The League will resume with match day four (4).

Chairman of the NNL, George Aluo, said at the weekend that all was set for the resumption.
