NPFL: Daniel Ogunmodede assures improved second stanza display from Remo Stars

Technical Adviser of Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede has disclosed his side’s readiness to prosecute the business end of 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL with more dedication to achieve their season’s goal.

The experienced tactician guided Remo Stars to finished second at the end of first standa garnering 35 points from possible 57, just a point behind current leaders, Lobi Stars.

Ogunmodede who described his team’s outing in the first round as near perfect noted that the target was to win the league this season having come third and second in the previous season.

He however, assured Remo Stars’ faithful of more impressive performance geared towards making them proud.

“It was almost a perfect outing for us, near perfect if I may say, we intend to finish the first round as leader but I will still take the second spot considering the fact that we all started at the same time,” Remo gaffer told media.

“We had 19 intense matches filled with incredible highs and lows and we are anticipating the second half of the season with renewed energy and enthusiasm.”

Remo Stars will kickstart the second round with an away tie to Abia Warriors in another ground other than Umuahia after the league body placed a ban on the stadium.
