By Oyediji Oluwaseun Babatunde

Assistant Coach of Enyimba International FC, Yemi Olanrewaju has shown his displeasure with the result and performance after his side’s 1-1 draw with Enugu Rangers in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) tie in Aba.

The People’s Elephant surrendered a 1-0 lead on home soil on Wednesday, with Chijioke Mbaoma open the scoring for the two-time African champions in the 12th minute.

With the hosts close to a slim lead, Kazeem Ogunleye equalised for the visitors in the 87th minute.

The assistant gaffer of Enyimba revealed through his social media handle that the game was supposed to have ended in the first half.

“A game that would have been walloped and ended in the first half, ended in a draw been long I got angry like this after a game”, he wrote.

The draw meant Enyimba occupy the fourth position with 23 points, five points behind league leaders, Doma United.

Finidi George’s side has two outstanding games to catch up on the top three teams on the log.
