Assistant Coach of Insurance FC, Greg Ikhenoba has advised his players to double their efforts which will help them finish the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season on a high.
Ikhenoba gave the charge while reacting to his side’s 2-1 comeback win over Kano Pillars in the Matchday 30 encounter decided on Tuesday in Benin.
He admitted that his players committed lots of errors in the match but were lucky to staged the victorious comeback.
Ikhenoba however promised that the technical crew will work on the lapses identified in encounter.
“I must commend the boys. They reacted well in the second half and got rewarded with the two good goals.
“You could see the antics of our opponents as they started delaying the game after their first-half lead goal.
“I am happy that we were able to come back into the game and win but we need to improve on our performance as well, especially how we grow into match situations,” he told the club’s media.
Bendel Insurance now have 41 points from 29 games.
