NPFL: Lobi Stars credits draw at Shooting Stars to fans’ support

Lobi Stars have expressed gratitude to their supporters following their 2-2 draw against Shooting Stars on Wednesday in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The Pride of Benue fought hard to secure the point in a thrilling Matchday 25 clash in Ibadan, with Ossy Martins’ brace earning the Makurdi-based side a valuable draw.

For the hosts, Joshua Akpan and Sodiq Ibrahim were the goal scorers. Despite their ongoing struggles, Lobi Stars are confident that with the backing of their loyal fans, they will rise from their current position.

“There is no limit to what our fans can do even with our current position. We will rise again,” Lobi Stars stated on X.

The team currently sits at the bottom of the league table with 23 points but remains hopeful of turning their fortunes around.
