NPFL: Mbwas Magnut recounts Enugu Rangers’ valuable win over Bayelsa United

Head coach of Enugu Rangers, Mbwas Magnut has described his side’s  2-1 win against Bayelsa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League as a deserved result.
The Flying Antelopes secured an narrow win against the Yenagoa based outfit to start their NPFL second stanza on a high thanks to strikes from Godwin Obage and Chidera Ezeh.
And the tactician has recounted how his side overcame the newcomers and their careless almost cost them.
“It was a difficult match with due respect to the opponents after the first encounter in Yenagoa ended in a draw,” Magnut told Brila.net.
“We created a lot of scoring chances but failed to convert. Until they got the lead, but we came back stronger in the second half and got our deserved result with the penalty calls from the referee as our opponent continued committing fouls in and around the box.
“We shall keep the momentum going into our next match and hope that we get our target as we chase a top three finish.”
The Flying Antelopes will face Abia Angels at the Enyimba International stadium, Aba on the 29th of March in a crunchy tie.
Seated seventh on the NPFL abridged group B, Enugu Rangers have 12 points from nine matches as Dakkada stay rooted to the bottom of the group.
